About this event

Susan Huang, MD MPH is Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at UCI School of Medicine, and Medical Director of Epidemiology and Infection Prevention at UCI Health. For the past 20 years, Dr. Huang has studied how contagious pathogens are spread and prevented in healthcare. She oversees COVID-19 infection prevention policies and protocols for UCI Health and leads the Orange County Nursing Home COVID Prevention Team on behalf of OC public health and Medicaid agencies. Dr. Huang has served on numerous committees for the CDC and national infectious diseases and infection prevention societies. She received her MD from Johns Hopkins, her Master of Public Health from Harvard, and completed her Infectious Diseases fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
